I've left the old text and pictures of the 25x150's below, just in case anyone wishes to take a look - they are sold though.
These Fuji Meibo binoculars are generally in very good condition apart from the paint work. The image is very bright and clear. There is some wear on a rubber seal between the left eyepiece and the main body of the binoculars. There is a slight misalignment of the images which can be corrected by holding the eyepieces in a certain way in order to take up this wear. Both the left and right rubber seals should be replaced in order to establish whether re-collimation is required. The lenses are all in good condition but not absolutely perfectly clean. Looking from the front, the left objective lens has a mark extending around 6mm x 8mm from the lower edge. The link between the eyepieces is missing.
The binoculars come mounted on a professionally made, polished, stainless steel pedestal. The lowest height for the pedestal is 168 cms to the binocular pivot point, which gives 165cms to eye level with the binoculars lined up with the horizon. The top part of the pedestal can be unscrewed 40cms, to enable astronomical observations with the binoculars being able to be swivelled upwards to around 30° from the vertical. The 2nd and 3rd photographs show the threaded part of the pedestal unscrewed by about 2.5cms. The pedestal and mount weigh slightly more than 50kg. The thickness of the stainless steel is 6mm.
